Our story began in 2015, when Mr. G. Prakasam, a man of vision, dedication, and deep-rooted passion for textiles, founded G.P Wovens in Vellore. With a humble beginning and a strong belief that “Weaving is an art,” he set out to create sarees that not only dress but express — blending tradition, craftsmanship, and quality into every piece.

Mr. G. Prakasam’s philosophy was simple yet profound: textiles are not just products, but a reflection of culture and creativity. Guided by this belief, he focused on producing exquisite silk, cotton, polyester, and handloom sarees that celebrate India’s timeless heritage.
